Windows 8 metro style looks great on tablet pcs but many people hate it when it’s come to laptop and desktop. We know windows takes less booting time compare to any desktop operating system. Microsoft also introduced metro style in windows 8 with their consumers. Its looks cool in tablets but on desktop pc it’s a huge waste of time. Many old windows users find hard to work with windows 8 even if it looks same like windows 7. I personally think there is no need of metro style in windows 8 if you add start menu button in windows 8.
Microsoft didn’t include the option of booting direct to desktop in windows 8 but in upgrade version of windows 8 which is windows 8.1. They included this option in it you can simply boot to desktop in windows 8.1. Its increase you’re booting slight faster and you will see yourself on desktop faster than ever before. Now windows 8.1 consumer preview image available to download you can use it.
If you wants to Boot direct to desktop to save time and skip/disable/turn off metro UI. First you have to download classic shell. Install classic shell and open it and go to windows 8 settings tab and check “skip metro screen” after doing it restart windows and after that windows 8 will boot directly into desktop
