How To Play Pc Games On Android Smartphone

Most of the android phone can run PSX games via PlayStation 1 emulator. But when it’s come to PC games I think there is no emulator which can run the PC game directly on your android device. There is one emulator called DOSBox Turbo which can play PC games on android. but it can only run old x86 games like Doom, Fallout 1 Duke nuke 1 and Elder Scrolls 1 and 2. Why we can’t play new high graphic PC games like GTA4, Dirt 3, Assassin creed and many popular games.

There is only one reason behind it that PC games are too heavy for android phones processor and GPU. Only one thing we can do is waiting for the developers to convert PC games in android platforms like they have done with max Payne, Resident evil 4, Street Fighter IV, GTA VC and GTA 3. Or wait for Heavier processor, Ram and GPU android phones which will be enough powerful to run PC OS and PC games.

As we can’t install PC operating system on the android phone directly. Although People have successfully installed windows 95, 98 and XP on android via Bochs or QEMU But it's unstable and slow. So the sad truth is we can't play latest PC games on android directly. But when the game becomes old and new phone has the power to run the game. Developer optimizes the game and port to mobile. We all know it takes too many years and not all games are portable to android or iOS.

However, we have found a bypass way to Run PC operating system in android devices . When 3 years back I had written this post there was only one software available to run PC games. But now there are many apps and software available to remote access your PC operating system and run all the installed software and games. So let's see how we can do this without wasting any time.

How to Play PC Games on Android Phone

We know there are many software and app to stream/ remote access PC but we have selected only the best for you. The procedure is simple we just have to install the streaming software on the computer and their client app on android. Then we will connect PC to android and play any game we have installed in the computer.

There are some requirements that you need to fulfill to play PC game on android. Make sure that your not missing anyone of these.

Minimum Requirements

• Windows vista or up version operating system computer. If you are using Mac or ubuntu use Splashtop 2.
• Game installed in PC which you want to play on android.
• Android 2.2 or up version device.
• Make sure computer and android using same WiFi.

Play PC games on android using Splashtop 2

If you are using the mac or ubuntu(Linux) PC you should follow this tutorial. Though it works for windows, mac and ubuntu.

• First, download and install Splashtop 2 streamer on your computer. 
• Now open it and Create a Splashtop account.
• Download and Install Splashtop 2 app on your Android phone.
• Open the Splashtop app and log in using same email and password used on Splashtop streamer.
• Though it will automatically detect your PC if you are using same wifi. Just tap on your detected computer name.
• Now you will see your computer screen just open the game and enjoy. You might have to adjust the controls to play properly.

Play PC Games on android using Remotr

• First, you have to download the Remotr Steamer on your computer and install it.
• Open it and create the new account and Register.
• Now install Remotr app on the android phone.
• Login to the app using the same email and password you used for registration.
• That's it now you can control your computer using android. you will see the computer screen on the android screen. Just open the game and enjoy playing PC games on android.

Note: If you are getting lag change the quality from sharp to smooth in Splashtop. you must have high-speed internet if you are not using wifi. Your PC should be enough powerful to run a game at 60 fps so you won't get any lag playing PC games on the android phone. Low down the game detail and resolution if your PC fail to get 60 fps. You can play any PC game but make sure you play those games which are compatible with the ps2/ps3/ps4 controller. Because you can connect the controller with android. So it will become easy to control the game.
