There are many times when we working on pc silently and suddenly a warning beep run loudly. It’s very annoying when it happen that point of time. But that’s not just all many time we use our pc as music system in small budget parties and we play music very loud and by mistake we increase decrease volume by mouse beep sound always hit our ear. There are many reason to disable or replace this beep and very less reasons to keep it. Before you gets ready to disable it let me tell you. If you won’t get any warning beep until you undo it in future. Don’t worry you will undo it very easily if you feel you want it back in future.
Anyway that beep sound can be replace with other wav audio and disable as well. There are two simple method to disable it I will teach you both. So if you want to get rid of this beep sound just follow my instructions.
Method 1: Through Device Manger
Right click on computer and
select properties and select
Device Manager
Device manager windows will open then click on
View and select
Show hidden devices
After that you will see
Non-Plug and Play Drivers in devices list just double click on it to expand then you will see
Beep just
right click on it and select
properties.
Now select
Driver tab and select the type
Disabled and press ok
Thats it now restart your pc and you will not listen that annoying sound again.
This method will
work on windows 7 because Microsoft didn't listed beep in device manager even if you show hidden devices. Don't worry windows 8 users can follow second method.
Method 2: Through System Sound
Right click on desktop and select
Personalization when personalization window will open select
Sounds
Now click on
Sounds tab in
Program Events find
Default Beep
Just click once on
Default Beep and
select None from sounds
Now Apply it and thats it you have turned off beep sound without restarting pc.
it will work on both windows 7 and 8. You can also select different audio from sound if you want to replace beep sound.
