Little late but Lava launched their brand new mobile from Xolo series. The model number is A1000. This time they haven’t made this mobile with Intel processor like old Xolo mobiles. They have used a unique technology that they called One Glass Solution (OGS) Display. What they have done with this technology is they made display with single layer glass included touch sensor. It improves image quality and help to make phone look slim. This phone actually slim 8.8mm compare to xolo a900 10.99mm. Design wise it looks quite cool especially in white body. It looks alike of a popular device from Galaxy series of Samsung mobile. 1280x720 pixels makes this device display hd with 295 ppi (Pixel per inch).

They have used Mediatek MT6577 with 1GHz Dual core processor. Like Micromax A116 Canvas HD improved Ram size to a1000 also increased ram in new Xolo a1000 to 1GB. We can say that because of 1GB Ram, dual core 1GHz processor and new display Technology. Xolo has improved a lot so let’s see important specification of this device.

Improvement from Xolo A900 to Xolo A1000

They have used new technology (OGS) on this device which will be more portable than old technology. They are using dual core processor with PowerVR SGX 531 GPU and increase ram to 1 GB so it makes this phone way better than old xolo series and it’s quite different than old xolo models because they were based on Intel processor but new xolo a1000 isn’t based on Intel processor. Actually they have done a huge improvement on this device look wise and portability wise. It looks slim and beautiful. I think if you look at the price and specs and design of this device it’s clearly improved phone over old xolo series.

But as I have told you in the starting of this review. That they have launched this phone little late because Micromax canvas HD launched 1 month before this phone with 1.2GHz Quad Core processor with same price. They both are using different technology and design. But Canvas HD can give tough fight to xolo a1000 because of processor. But xolo design looks cool over canvas HD.
