We all have some secrets files in our computer, laptop and mobile phones and we don’t want to show it to others that is why we use password or pattern locks on our mobile but what if your brother or sister know the password or pattern lock then they could reach the location of your secret files. Mostly mobile users install apps locking apps and they just password lock the image and video opening apps but they can install other image opening apps if they are smart users.
So what should we do well if you have only few secret files then you don’t need any software or app but if there are hundreds of file which you want to hide then you should use best apps locker or folder locker. But if you are dealing with few files then our manual procedure is good for you it can easily hide any file from anyone just follow our simple steps.
Nice video.MP4 to data.bat we just rename file and its extension and when someone open it, it will won’t work. You can rename to anything which is better for you if I have more files I just name to 1.dat, 2.dat 3.dat so on. You can use any other extension of your choice like .PSD, .DOC, .txt use the extension that makes a file to stop working that’s it.
Open the file - As you only know the working extension and when you want to see just open the file with the app or software which works for the file like in this case i will use any video player to open it or just change the extension to its normal extension and it will work again.
Android user just install Es file explorer and iOS user use file master or file manager.

Hide secret files by renaming extension
Don’t think too much it’s the lightest way to hide any file and many users are doing it for long time and still using this trick to hide many videos, images or any other file. You just have to rename the extension of the file you want to hide for example.Open the file - As you only know the working extension and when you want to see just open the file with the app or software which works for the file like in this case i will use any video player to open it or just change the extension to its normal extension and it will work again.
Benefit of hiding file with this trick
