Clash of clans is one of the most popular game in the smartphones world. It’s one of the best strategy game available on mobile platform then why we are talking about “leaving this game”. Reasons are many if you ask to any experience player he might also suggest to avoid clash of clans and he may has some different reasons. We all know it’s an addictive game if you also know that and you're still not leaving or may be game not leaving you. This game has been grown very fast it was release for iOS phone then released for android also and many players also play clash of clans on PC. The developer also release new updates every month which is a good thing for games but not for this game as far as we know, it’s a quite complete game. Even if they don’t give any update it will work fine. But they keep update the game to make this game harder for normal users. If you’re a rich kid you can buy millions of gems and upgrade your town hall with in a day but then you will not get the experience of the actual game. You won’t understand the attacks strategy and building defenses.
Still our main reason is not time because every game ask for time to learning and becoming master of it. But this game ask too much time and can you guess? One month? Two months lets go for 6 month? Believe me two years also less because the developers keep add new stuff which will make this game away from you and you will never catch this game.
Whoever starts this game everything looks so easy even upgrades are easy and waiting times are like 5 minutes / 15 minutes for all upgrades and that starting makes you to play this game but later on you won’t believe It you will have to upgrade many stuffs in the game which take 14 days and you never know developer may introduce a new updates which will increase that time too.

What bots can does?
There are 17 troops in the game if you want to reach the maximum level of all troops without spending any money on gems and playing in a proper manner like maxing every town hall then moving to another town hall. Then it will take 2-3 years (if new level updates doesn’t come). When I started the game level 4 was the max level for any troop but later on they added level 5, then 6 and now level 7 troops also added in the game so things changed now the game ask 3-4 years.
There are 3 types of hero available in this game till this date we don’t know about the future they may add another hero. It is the hardest thing you would upgrade in the game because of dark elixir we will discuss that in resources. The maximum level of hero is 40 which will take more than 227 Days if you don’t play with them and keep on upgrading. So it will take 227 days even more because I am sure anyone can wait for 227 days you have to use hero in the war.
Another one is Archer queen, she also need dark elixir to upgrade and don’t forgot to add 227 days more. So total time for these two hero is 454 days only if you never play with them and keep on upgrade right after their level upgrades.
Developers added another hero in the game for Town hall 11 users. Which is grand warden it will take more than 87 days to max. So total 541 days only for heroes to maximize. But can you play without using them let’s face it you can’t, you have to use them for loot and collecting resource to upgrade other things in the game.

Let’s talk few lines about Town hall 10, now you will know that you need another one year to max it. I think one year also less for this town hall it was the last town hall. When I started the game town hall 10 was the last town hall but now town hall 11 also came and you may need 2 years more you never know when you reach to town hall 11 they may add TH12.

for walls after town hall 8 you can use elixir also to upgrade walls

So if anyone want to play with money and maxing the town hall 10 with in few hours he/she has to pay $7989.15 US Dollar but if you're choosing the normal way then donate your 3/4 years to this game then you might max TH10 which is not the end of this game because another town hall added which is TH11.

1. Clash of clans becomes Game of cheaters
Clash of clans was made for human but now robots also joined the race now it’s like human vs robots. You can simply Google “Clash of Clans bots” you will get many website where bots are available for download but special feature need paid subscription. May be you don’t know about the bot basically it’s an automatic software/app which perform the tasks behalf of you it can do all the tasks which you does in the game. So smart players won’t seat back and play the game whole day like you they just use the bot and watch movies or enjoy the life with their friends.What bots can does?

2. Upgrades Takes so much time
As I told you starting always looks good, all upgrades takes less time but as you upgrade stuff in the game next level upgrade will take more time. So from 5 minutes to 14 days journey won’t be easy. When you reach the town hall 9 you will see 14 days upgrades for single objects in the game. 3. Upgrades are costly and way too expensive
Now these days every game has some upgrades which cost their own game currency or points etc. but in this game everything is way too expensive. When you start the game upgrades are a lot cheaper but when you move to another town hall the cost of upgrade increase like tsunami. Until TH6 you won’t feel the heat may be some people feel and it’s part of the game but after that Town Hall 6 every upgrade will be a pain for you. You have to loot whole day to make your builder busy and give them something to do which is not possible for everyone. This part of the game will ruin your life you will realize that but addiction won’t let you leave the game and when you reach town hall 8 or 9 walls will make you cry. Walls are the hardest upgrade in this game if you are going to upgrade walls TH9 wall will take at least 6-7 months and you won’t want to go for TH10.Let’s talk few lines about Town hall 10, now you will know that you need another one year to max it. 4. Less Resources Hard to find good Loot
When I started this game loots was good and easy to find within 2/3 searches. But as they keep on adding new updates and replacing the algorithm loots were getting low.
Same thing happened with other players in a different way as they upgraded their town hall loots became low compare to troops cost and searching.
Troops for normal loot also cost at least 1,00,000 elixir and every search cost 1000 gold on higher town hall level, if you’re lucky or 1 gem barrack boost season is running then you will get good loot. But mostly you will get less loot and you have to spend whole day to fill your storage.

When you upgrade to town hall 10 game will change dramatically you have to deal with inferno and you will get stronger bases compare to your level and troops. You will also get town hall 11 and maxed town hall 10. Loot won’t be easy to get and you have to face many lose especially in your initial days of TH10 after that you will get the habit of losing :P just kidding. Actually town hall 10 break players heart it’s really hard to collect loot on that town hall and upgrades also expensive so you can’t make your builder busy and no one likes it.
5. Waiting time for Troops and Spells
Even when you have upgraded the troops to maximum level and paid everything to reach that level. You still have to wait the same time as you were on TH1. Upgrading just improve the power and hit points nothing else Clash of clans still force you to buy gem and boost these barracks. So upgrading doesn’t make any difference time won’t be lesser you have to wait for them 25s to 45 minutes depends on the troops you’re cooking.

Even if your troops are ready for clan war you have to wait 1 or 2 hours for your spells I mean why? We did the upgrades we paid everything now why should we wait? At least upgrade should lesser their time, it’s just a strategy to making people buy gems.
6. There is no end in this game
Ok Let’s suppose you have reached the town hall 11 and you have maxed it do you think you have finished the game spending 717 days which is only on paper I am pretty sure it will take more than that because no one can keep on upgrading continuously. So you have maxed the town hall 11 do you think you have finished the game? Let’s say you have topped the leagues did you got anything? Any prize or something? And reaching the top and staying the top are two different things, you need money for this game you have to buy gems you can’t reach the top without spending on gems for boosting troops and spells.
Clash of clans will introduce another town hall level and new stuff into the game so there is not ending of this game. You won’t get any award of reaching the town hall level 11 by wasting your $7989.15 or more than 717 days I know people who are mad on this game and playing since 2012 and they are still not max TH11 so what they did in this 4 years yes they have maxed town hall 10 but without wall because they are not ready to spend that much of money and they are keep costing their time instead of real money which is more costly. So what I mean to say is there is no ending of this game you won’t see any numbering or credits lines which will tell you that you have finished the game. This game is made to earn money badly from you so they will constantly give you updates new levels and troops buildings etc. They just want to make this game as harder as they can clash of clans just want to push you to buy gems.
Conclusion
I am not saying this game is bad it’s good for spending time and connecting with friends and playing clan wars. But it’s bad for kids and students because they won’t focus in study because it’s an addictive game if once you got the addiction of clash of clans. You will disconnect from your social life and I must say it’s a dangerous game for your career. It’s a free game but it will cost you your precious time so if you don't have anything to do and you have enough time then you can play this game.
