How to skip user selection option on windows 7 boot

In two condition your windows 7 computer should boot on log on screen mode. Condition 1 when you set password for your windows 7 account your computer always boot on log on mode and when you enter the correct password it will open your account. Condition number 2 when you have more than 1 account in your windows 7 computer it will surely ask for which account should your computer open and when you click on your account it will open it.

But many time windows 7 users complaint that they have only single user window 7 computer and they don’t even set password on it. But it still always boot on log on mode and when they click on it only then it bring them to desktop. It’s really frustrating if you’re a busy guy and wants their windows 7 computer always boot on desktop. I have a simple solution for it if you have single user account computer then first remove the windows 7 password if you have and then follow my instruction below.

Boot Windows 7 on Desktop Mode

  • Click Start or Windows button
  • Now type Netplwiz and press enter
  • netplwiz
  • User Accounts window will pop up uncheck the option Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer and click Apply
  • boot option
  • Thats it now your windows 7 computer always boot on desktop mode.
