Finally window 8 Released after providing us free preview consumer preview almost for a year. Now we can upgrade to window 8.microsoft announced a special offer for only window 7 , Window Vista , Window Xp and other OS pirated user they can upgrade to window 8 just for 39 $ (11/11/2012 price) isn’t good to upgrade to window 8. You will get a window app store like Android market you can download latest window apps from there isn’t enough hmm you need more reasons to install window 8? So let’s start

1. Booting Time

A question always come in our mind whenever we change to other operating system how fast it boot up. Well I personally tested it and I saw huge difference in window 8 and window 7 booting. Window 8 took 9 sec but window 7 took almost 21 sec to boot up. So clearly window 8 more than 50% faster than window 8 in booting time.we can say that window 8 is the fastest booting operating system right now along with Ubuntu 12.10.

2. Less Memory Usage (RAM)

System memory causational resource that can dramatically affect experience of any computing device. Every users want their system has more free memory. So his system can perform multitasking easily and faster even if he has less ram installed. I tested both window 8 and window 7 memory usage and the final result came window 7 was using 18.75 % of RAM and window 8 was using 14 % of RAM. So as you can see more free ram in window 8 to perform task more faster and smoother.

3. Less installation disk space

Every single bytes are important for low size hdd users like 80 gb and 160 gb users. We all know hdd price goes high since last year and we know how hard to manage a less disk space pc because we can’t really install all of our favorite software’s and other stuffs like movies , songs , etc. window 8 installation take 500mb less than window 7 so we got 500 mb for some other stuff.

5. Gaming

If you’re a gamer and you care about your games that will it work on window 8? Will it decrease / increase my gaming fps? After hours of benchmark by By Koen Crijns from hardware.info he decide that window 8 and window 7 are same in gaming so no need to worry about your games.

Pin Password: you can create 4 digit as your password also it’s a quick way to login
Hotmail Account: you also can use your hotmail account to secure your personal computer

8. Lock Screen & Metro Style

1st of all lock screen its looks similar to mobile or tablet lock screen. After dragging up the lock screen we get new windows ui known as metro which looks alike nokia Lumia style. The icons on metro can be movable and you can also change some of apps size as well as uninstall them. Overall environment of window 8 looks alike a mobile or tablet until you open desktop. after installing it you will feel like you bought new pc or tablet

9. Multiple Monitors Compatibility

Window 8 has better supports for multiple monitors for wider screen experience without using any third party software. You can starch Window 8 wallpaper on multiple monitors. You can use start screen on other monitor and desktop on another monitor you can select any monitor as primary monitor to show start button there or switch back to make another monitor as primary monitor

10. PCMark 7 Benchmark Score

Pcmark 7 is a tool which calculate gaming, browsing, image, video, creative, entertainment and pc hardware and many more things scores. Its gives us full performance score.
